About the Job 

The Director of Admissions for Events and Visits is an exempt full-time position reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Traditional Enrollment for the College of Undergraduate Studies (CUS). The Director has responsibility for managing, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, visits, and activities that directly support the recruitment efforts of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

We’re looking for candidates who have:  

1. Five to seven years of admissions and enrollment experience in either/or recruitment, operations, events and marketing. 
2. Three to five years of event management experience. 
3. Demonstrated experience running large and multi-faceted projects, and managing multiple projects at one time. Strategic and tactical execution skillsets preferred. 
4. Demonstrated experience using data to inform strategic decision making. 
5. Demonstrated experience managing budgets, tracking costs and reporting on results. 
6. Ability to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends. 
7. Experience using Salesforce Education Cloud preferred. 
8. Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products. 
9. Excellent oral, written and proofreading skills. 

Key Job Duties 

1. Mission Contribution
   1. In this role, the Director of Admissions for Events and Visits contributes to the mission by sharing the vision of how a degree or program through CCU will transform prospective students as they obtain their education with a Christian worldview that emphasizes how personal values and ethics can impact education, life, and work. 
2. Enrollment Outcomes
   1. Monitor conversion rates for each admissions event; analyze and report findings; and collaborate with the AVP for Traditional Enrollment to identify and implement data-informed improvements designed to strengthen prospective-student yield.
   2. Leverage campus visit experience to directly impact enrollment targets and demonstrate increased conversion rates   
3. Preview Coordination
   1. Responsible for monthly One-Day and Two-Day Preview events, which provide prospective students and their families an opportunity to experience CCU.
   2. Responsibilities include but are not limited to scheduling, programming, facilities, and meal planning for all Previews, including a three-night Discovery Preview over the summer. 
4. Major Event Planning and Execution
   1. This position will also plan, coordinate, and execute our major annual enrollment events: Application Days, CCU Bounds, World Changers Full-Tuition Scholarship Competition, Cougar Days, and any other events created to support recruitment efforts. 
5. Staff and Student Supervision
   1. Manages the Campus Visit Experience Specialist
   2. Conducts student employee hiring, training, coaching decisions for professional events and visit staff members. 
   3. Responsible for hiring, training, and coaching Graduate Assistants, who function in a support role for event coordination.
   4. Oversees multiple student employees who execute a variety of assignments and tasks necessary for each Preview, including hosting prospective students.
   5. Leads the vision for the prospective student and family engagement  
6. Responsible for learning and gaining functional expertise of Salesforce (CRM) to manage event and visit registration, as well as manage and analyze data and enrollment resulting from events and visits under their management. 
7. Oversees the maintenance and management of web content supporting event promotion and registration. 
8. Collaborate with the AVP of Traditional Enrollment for annual budgeting and for CUS Events budget planning, spending, and variances. 
9. Provides supervisory oversight for the staff member responsible for managing the campus merchandise store. 
10. Assists in the planning and execution of additional facets of our enrollment events. 

Work Environment 

While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to walk, stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, speak with clarity, and have appropriate vision and hearing capabilities. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. You may be required to work occasional irregular hours, including some nights and weekends. Colorado Christian University expects all faculty and staff to become a part of the University community by participating in activities and events that occur on the campus throughout the year, which may occur during evenings and weekends.

Pay and benefits will be discussed in more detail as candidates progress through the interview process.  

Colorado Christian University’s pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity; along with budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. Pay will be assigned based on relevant experience at a range of $62,000 - $72,000. We reserve the right to pay an equitable rate that we believe is within our salary structure or that may fit a candidate’s qualifications or experience for the job. A wage range posted is not a guarantee of a specific wage range for a job offer. Spiritual Requirements

1. Committed follower of Jesus Christ, who believes there is no salvation apart from faith in his atonement on the cross, by grace alone becoming "born again" thus beginning a personal relationship with Christ, the Son of God.
2. Able to effectively communicate personal faith and apply biblical principles and convictions in the workplace. Must have a strong sense of calling to the ministry of Colorado Christian University.
3. Regularly attend and be engaged in meaningful involvement in a Bible-believing evangelical local church. Knowledgeable about the Word of God and passionate about Christian education.
4. Must be a traditional evangelical Christian whose lifestyle is in consonance with sound Christian principles, is compatible with CCU’s Statement of Faith, and is in agreement with the Strategic Priorities promulgated by the University.
