HR ASSISTANT
Location: Orlando, FL | On-site
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Experience: 1–2 years preferred
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dependable and organized HR Assistant to support daily Human Resources operations within a community-focused healthcare organization.
This position supports employee records, onboarding, recruiting, scheduling, payroll, benefits, compliance, and general HR administration.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
• Assist with new-hire paperwork, onboarding, and orientation
• Post jobs, schedule interviews, and communicate with candidates
• Process employee documentation, status changes, and HR forms
• Support payroll-related information and employee timekeeping
• Answer basic employee questions about benefits, policies, and HR procedures
• Maintain HR spreadsheets, reports, and tracking documents
• Coordinate background checks and required documentation
• Assist with employee training, meetings, and attendance tracking
• Support HR compliance and general administrative needs
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, professional, and service-oriented approach
• 1–2 years of HR, office administration, healthcare administration, or related experience preferred
• College coursework or an associate degree is a plus
• HRIS, payroll system, or applicant tracking system experience is a plus
• Healthcare, nonprofit, or community-service experience is a plus
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• $18.00–$20.00 per hour
• Medical, dental, and vision coverage after six months
• 401(k) with a 3% match after six months
• 104 hours of PTO, accrued at four hours every two weeks
